I’ve been wearing lots of black and white lately. I seem to be partial to black and white dresses, and because of that’s there’s 4 dresses in my wardrobe with that colour combination. I used to always think that fat girls couldn’t wear white, because it made you look bigger and that would be horrible. When I quit school at 16 i wore a baby pink top and skirt because white was out of the question. Baby pink is NOT my colour! These days I mostly think I can’t wear white because I’m messy and spill things on my clothes. Or sit in dirty things. So white combined with other colours work much better.

This dress is one of my favourites. It fits me well, it’s lined, the fabric is soft and comfortable, it shows just about enough cleavage (lots, but without showing my bra or being too revealing) and the pattern on it is lovely.

Flowery tops!

I want this! This top is all the ugly flowery tops I’ve ever hated, combined in to one. And I want it. In my (deluded?) mind I could pull it off. I could wear this flowery top and look good. Right??

I was always scared of wearing colours and patterns as a fat child and teen. I was so sure that it would make me look fat (and fat, as we all know, apparently equals ugly). So I wore black, black black black….. black. I’m making up for it now, wearing ridiculous combinations and garish colours. This is how I see it; I’m fat, and no matter what I wear I will still look fat. Wearing black won’t make me magically look 40 pound thinner and it certainly won’t make me any cheerier or friendlier.

Seriously, flowery tops! I’m not buying it, I have no money at all, plus I’m partial to sales anyway. But.. yeah flowery would be great.

Possible wedding attire

I’m getting married soon! Originally we were planning a big party with friends and guests from abroad but now we’ve settled for a nice, simple dinner with our closest friends and family. I’ve been contemplating my dress and I actually have three different dresses to choose from. Since we’re just poppring in and out of the registry office I’ve decided against having a traditional wedding dress, but I still want to look nice.

One of the competitors is this absolutely STUNNING dress from Evans that ALex gave me as a birthday gift. It’s still sold (£50) and fits me wonderfully. It’s a bit revealing, but I think I look great. I’ll pair it with the top hat! Yes, it’s over the top but that’s the point. I’ll also be wearing black eyeliner, red lipstick and have red roses. I want to play dress up! ALex would be wearing a dinner jacket and a hat too.

Imagine me walking out of the registry office wearing this ensemble, going to the closest falafel place for a quick wedding lunch! I should get a hidden camera to record how people react!

This is my new blog! And my first blog post. Yay!

This is going to be a blog about me, a fat girl, who refuses to apologize for her size. I’ll be posting my outfits (yay fatshion!), thought about being fat and any random mish-mash that I find fitting for this blog.

Let’s start out in style! This is what I wore today to go thrifting. We went to many many second hand stores and I found a few nice new knick knacks.
